Part II-The “root cause” of the long Decline and Failures

On March 14, 2025 the Shelby Star published an article titled “Public Speaks out after Shelby High Students prohibited from playing LGBTQ quiz”… According to the Shelby Star article, the key points were:

Community members voiced their support for the student and the activism club, arguing that the school board’s actions were discriminatory and violated students’ First Amendment rights.
Speakers emphasized the positive contributions of LGBTQ+ individuals and argued that discussions about the community are not indecent or harmful to students.

Folks, no matter what the Shelby Star or the Public Speakers at the March 10, 2025 CCS School Board Meeting considers indecent or harmful; the lessons of Sodom and Gomorrah as fully described in the Holy Bible (Genesis) are clear as a bell. The Angels of God destroyed the ancient cities of Sodom and Gomorrah with fire and brimstone because of what God thought about LGBTQ+ activities. And many, and maybe most Cleveland County citizens, including Robert A, believe the teachings of the Holy Bible are “TRUE” and ANY such LGBTQ+ activity should NOT be allowed to occur at taxpayer paid CCS School Facilities and CCS school owned property. Period!! NO matter if it is a QUIZ in the form of some sort of trivia game. Just the kind of “deception” thing that is also described in the Holy Bible when Satan tried to “tempt” Jesus with over the course of 40 days and 40 nights on the mountain. The same kind of DECEPTION that the present CCS School Board Majority; Joel Shores, Aaron Bridges, Ron Humphries, Walter Scott Spurling and Gloria Sherman use at all of their recent CCS School Board Meetings to keep the public in the dark about the evil doings that are going on at CCS during every CCS School Board Meeting.

Note that this recent Shelby Star article went on and on about the legal ramifications of the NEW Federal Lawsuit that has been brought against CCS Superintendent Stephen Fisher (in both his Official and personal capacity) and against all 9 CCS School Board members in their Official capacity. Was filed in Federal Court on February 5, 2025 and was included in an article previously provided to the Public by Robert A. Note that this Federal Lawsuit has also been provided to the Public by the Shelby Star.

So, everybody in Cleveland County has access to this lawsuit and what it alleges. Robert A wonders how many in Cleveland County have actually taken the time to read this lawsuit? Basically, this ACLU prepared lawsuit resembles every Civil Rights (race related) Lawsuit filed over the past 150 years. Substitute “Black” with “LGBTQ+”and allege that “the LGTBQ+ people have been discriminated against in violation of the US Constitutions.” Robert A has read through this Federal Lawsuit closely and believes that the CCS Officials noted, the Superintendent and all the CCS School Board Members have indeed violated the civil rights of the LGBTQ+ students and all of us Cleveland County taxpayers will end up paying all the $$$ in this case.

Robert A also believes that everything about this lawsuit liability could have been totally avoided in advance by a competent CCS Superintendent who was made responsible and held accountable by a competent CCS School Board MAJOPRITY vote. And, as Robert A has previously stated in a previous article, that Cleveland County Schools have been very well documented as consisting of a majority of FAILING CCS schools. That Shelby High School was the last hope for a sound basic education for so many students who were being left behind by incompetence all around. That every minute of school time at Shelby High School and all the other High Schools should have been filled up with remedial instruction that had been missed being fully taught at Middle Schools and Elementary Schools. Leaving NO TIME at Shelby High School, or anywhere else, for NON-Curricular games and quizzes like what the Activism Club wanted to do.

In a situation that makes one want to vomit, CCS School Board Chairman Joel Shores was right. Failures begets More Failures!!! Robert A was right too!!! FAILURES on the CCS School Board allow Failures throughout in the entire CCS organization. Joel Shores, Ron Humphries, Aaron Bridges, Walter Scott Spurling and Gloria Sherman must be removed from the CCS School Board and Stephen Fisher must be removed as the CCS Superintendent. Quickly, ALL!!

BREAKING NEWS!!! Breaking News!!!

Robert A has already gotten wind of a RUMOR that CCS Superintendent Dr. Stephen Fisher has already begun “Teaching” at Gardner Web University!!! Almost the exact same MO as when former CCS Superintendent Dr. Bruce Boyles “retired” from CCS under the threat of criminal charges during the P-Card scandal running rampant through CCS just a few years ago. Only to show up for work at Gardner-Webb that very next day.
