Part III Dirty Tricks at Nov. 4th CCS School Board Meeting!! Come n Down, SEE for yourself!!  

Folks, Just a few days ago Robert A published the first article anticipating Dirty Tricks coming down at the November, 4, 2024 CCS School Board Meeting. And, recommended citizens and voters to turn out to see the corruption for yourself. This article provides additional things to look out for and again recommends citizens, voters, parents and interested parties to attend this November 4, 2024 CCS School Board Meeting and see for yourself. Come on down at 6:00 PM tonight and join Robert A on the first row.

Here are a few items to watch out for:

  1. Buying Votes??!! Or, Just a Bribe???

 The CCS School Board Finance Committee Report regarding Additional Teacher Supplemental pay (Note ADDITIONAL TEACHER PAY appears to be a Vote Buying Scheme (Bribe) by both the Cleveland County Commissioners (Kevin Gordon and Johnny Hutchins) as well as certain incumbent School Board Members Joel Shores and Ron Humphries.

According to this report, the County Commissioners (Gordon and Hutchins, et. al.) have provided CCS an additional $2,835,991.00 earmarked for teacher “supplement pay,” apparently from the school tax funds the County had set aside for new school construction. Apparently this $2.8 million has been re-tasked to go directly to teachers, in addition to all the other pay increases and benefits given by the State and the County as a regular part of the School Budgeting process.

  • Note that the total budget for Cleveland County Schools has increased from around $155 Million before Covid to $223 Million now. After Covid. With bad student performance morphing into even worse student performance!
  • Also Note that many School Teachers and other CCS Employees were let go this year due to the large reduction in students attending CCS that are now attending Pinnacle Classical Academy and other various Charter Schools, Home Schools and Church Schools. Mostly because CCS is failing to teach CC students to an expected proficiency. Like being able to read, Write and do Math at “Grade Level.”
  • Many CCS Students have Graduated CCS, never learning to be able to signing their name on a paycheck. Or, anything else.

 Especially note that the Commissioners provided the CCS School Board this additional $2,835,991.00 in funding with ZERO performance requirements. Not one dime, not even one penny of this “Additional Funding” is tied to ANY improvement in student leaning, although it is CCS’s Number One Strategic Goal to reach third grade reading, writing and math proficiency levels by 2030. From these facts, one has to conclude that this additional $2,835,991 in Cleveland County TAXDOLLARS is NOT just a “GIFT” from incumbent Commissioners Kevin Gordon and Johnny Hutchins and incumbent CCS School Board Members Joel Shores and Ron Humphries, but a Vote Buying Scheme, a “Bribe” to CCS, The largest employer in CC, to re-elect Gordon, Hutchins, Shor3es and Humphries. And using taxpayers hard earned taxdollars to do the bribing.

 Also note that this funding will be distributed as follows:

  • Eligible teachers with 15 or more years’ experience would get maximum supplement amount ($2,224)
  • Eligible teachers with 14 or less years of experience would get an equal share of the remaining balance.
  • To be eligible, the teacher must be employed on December 20, 2024.

This payout (Bribe) will be completed in January 2025!

  1. Sale of Graham and Marion Schools?

  The following Text excerpts were taken from the October 24, 2024 CCS School Board Official Meeting Minutes:

 Stephen Fisher shared that the county responded to our offer of the Graham and Marion properties at their September 2024 regular meeting. The county commissioners voted to take the Graham property, and have agreed that if the property is sold for anything other than a public purpose, the county will place all net proceeds in the School Capital Reserve Fund. They do not want the Marion or Lawndale properties.

Also,

As Robert A ORIGIALLY PREDICTED, this is the beginnings of a classic land-flip scam!!!

First, The Cleveland County Commissioners did NOT vote, at the Official September 17, 2024 Commissioner’s Meeting “TO TAKE” the Graham Property. The School Property was included in a list of 24 separate items (the last item (Item X) on the list), under the Consent Agenda that the Commissioners would vote to approve with a single Motion to Approve and a Single Vote to Approve. He underlying paperwork for this item was that the Commissioners “would be interested” in this particular item. Which was noted as two separate parcels in the Commissioners paperwork. “Being interested” is a whole lot different than a “Done Deal.” But, Remember, this kind of “Confusion” is just a “smoke screen” by both the CC Commissioners AND the CCS School Board to hide behind when the bribes and kickbacks start rolling in.

 Folks, this kind of blatantly “crooked” stuff goes way back for at least 30 years that Robert A knows about. Robert A Published an article almost 30 years ago where the CC Commissioners and the Garder-Webb College Board of Trustees colluded to flip a piece of property where a well-thought-of Elected Official doubled his money at taxpayer expense. Robert A will forgo all the details here, but will republish that 30-year-old article as quickly as he can find it.

 Now, let’s look at certain other “smoke-screen items taken from this October 24, 2024 School Board Meeting Minutes that show just how desperate to Cover-up our CCS School Board and CC Commissioners really are.

 11. Public Participation / Board Member Comments

Procedural: 11.01 Public Participation (Policy 2310 Public Participation at Board Meetings) Lateefah Byrd and Lincy Generette addressed the Board of Education.

Information: 11.02 Board Member Comments

“Board members were allowed to comment at this time.”

(Notice how there are no entries that show what a person speaking under Public Participation, as well as a School Board member’s actual statements are totally missing from this official document that is supposed to be a fair and accurate description of what transpired during the meeting such that a person that did NOT attend the meeting could fairly understand what had transpired during the meeting.)

 13. Administrative

Action: 13.01 Surplus Real Property (Graham Elementary) MOTION to approve the resolution as read.

Notice that the text of the resolution is missing entirely. Also, notice that no comments or questions are provided. Even though this was a split (8-1) vote as shown below.

 Folks, these selected examples are but a few among many glaring deficiencies in this particular Official Record produced by Cleveland County Schools. Where, by law, these records are supposed to be fair and accurate descriptions of what actually transpired during the meeting.

No normal and effective public agency would EVER allow such as this be produced, even one time. Yet, this is typical for both the CCS School Board (Joel Shores, Ron Humphries et. al. and the CC Commissioners under Commissioners Kevin Gordon, Johnny Hutchins, et.al. The only explanation is both the School Board and Commissioners would rather have a smoke screen to hide behind, rather than fair and accurate records.

Robert A can only conclude that his description of Kevin Gordon, Johnny Hutchins, Robert Queen, Joel Shores, Ron Humphries, et. al as being “Skunks,” “Crooks,” “Liars” and Schemers” is right and 100% correct!!!
