Part II-Dirty Tricks Expected at Next CCS School Board Meeting!!!

 Folks, The November 4th 2024 CCS School Board Meeting is Tomorrow at 6:00 PM at the CCS Central Services Building, 400 West Marion Street in Shelby.  Come join Robert A on the very first row!!! And PAY ATTENTION!!!

 Almost immediately after Robert A published the original article (again shown below) a phone call came in from a CCS School Board Member. That the reason the November 11th, 2024 meeting was rescheduled was because Nov 11 was a Holiday-Veteran’s Day. Schools were out, etc. And, these school board meeting schedules are done a year in advance. Therefore, the School Board Meeting was moved up one week to November 4, 2024. Like, Hey, Robert A, your whole article is full of bullsh*t.

But, check out the fourth paragraph in the original article. Robert A actually predicted the sneaky way the Rogue Republicans on the School Board operate.

  • Yes, Monday, November 11, 2024 is a National Holiday and the regularly scheduled CCS School Board Meeting for November should be rescheduled.
  • Yes, the CCS School Board sets their meeting schedule for a year in advance.

 However:

  • The November 2024 School Board Meeting would be included in the 2024-2025 School Year Schedule. Which begins after the 2023-2024 School Year ends. Sometime in the June, July, August 2024 Time Frame. Which is AFTERthe March 5, 2024 CCS School Board Republican Primary Elections, where CCS School Board members Robert Queen, Greg Taylor and Rodney Fitch were defeated.
  • However, according to one part of North Carolina Law, Queen, Taylor and Fitch’s terms in office would continue until the 2024 General Elections, which is November 5, 2024. Tradition has it that the old school board would remain in office until a later School Board meeting schedule where the outgoing Board would begin the Meeting until the incoming Board members could be sworn in.

 Now, back to rescheduling this November 11, 2024 School Board Meeting back to November 4, 2024.  Instead of any later date.

  • Although the North Carolina General Statutes, which in many cases can be substituted by Local of Sessions Laws, Robert Queen, Greg Taylor and Rodney Fitch’s terms in office unquestionably extends until the end of the 2024 General Election Day, November 5, 2024.
  • Any actions taken by the CCS School Board on November 4, 2024 would normally be legally binding, unless legally overturned by Court Order. NC State Court or US Federal Courts.
  • The 2024-2025 CCS Board Meeting Schedules would normally have been set sometime between June and August of 2024.
  • In NORMAL PRACTICE, when a “First Monday” of a month was on a Holiday the meeting would be rescheduled AFTERthat Holiday, NOT before the Holiday.

Therefore, this November 2024 School Board Meeting rescheduled to November 4th, 2024:

  1. : Is NOT a NORMAL PRACTICE!!!
  2. Appears to be done for the purpose of some sort of mischief, graft or corruption.

Robert A has obtained a copy of the November 4, 2024 School Board Meeting Agenda and a cursory review shows several items of concern.

Dirty Tricks Expected at Next CCS School Board Meeting!!!

November 11, 2024 Meeting pushed up to November 4th  

The Day BEFORE Election Day!!! Robert A. Smells a RAT!!!  

Observations, recollections, facts, Opinions and Predictions by Robert A

The CCS School Board Policy Number 2300 Board Meetings says:

The Cleveland County Board of Education will meet regularly on the second Mondays of each month at 6:00 p.m. The Board will have at least one regular meeting each month. Unless otherwise posted, the regular meetings shall be held in the Board room at the Cleveland County Schools Central Services building at 400 W. Marion Street in Shelby, North Carolina.

The 2024 Calendar shows that the Second Monday in November is November 11, 2024. The official Meeting Schedule, developed many months ago, NOW shows the November CCS School board Meeting will instead be held on November 4, 2024. The very day before the Nov. 5th 2024 School Board final Elections. Robert A smells a rat!!!

Folks, if there is one thing certain about the Rogue Republicans on the CC Commissioners and the Rogue Republicans on the CCS School Board is that they are consistent in their dirty tricks. First, they always manipulate the processes, policies and the law to cover their stinking asses. Then they cook the books to hide what they are about to do or what they have already done. And, then they do their dirty tricks in such a way that they can claim they were acting correctly and according to the law when they vote to approve something that is NOT in the best interest of the parents, children, citizens, voters and taxpayers of Cleveland County. It almost always has something to do with money and who gets that money. Or, jobs for their family, friends or relatives.

 Robert A has developed a keen sense of observation and logical thinking to detect crooked anomalies’ and can come up with predictions that are often very close to 100% accuracy. Robert A believes this is one of those times that he will be very close to the mark on the corruption that is about to come down at the November 4th, 2024 CCS School Board Meeting. Robert A predicts the Rogue Republicans on BOTH the CCS School Board AND the CC Commissioners, along with the City of Shelby are about pull-off some “Hocus-Pocus” this coming Monday night (Nov. 4, 2024 at the CCS School Board meeting that will set into motion the surplus dirt cheap sale (giveaway) of old Graham and Marion Schools, along with the adjoining valuable property, to some of their real estate buddies. Who will then quickly “FLIP” the property at huge profits for themselves. And probably provide nice gifts (graft payments or “bribes” might describe it better) to their friends on the School Board and Commissioners.

This is what we know:

  • The shutting down of Graham and Marion Schools was done under the recommendation of an outside private Consulting Engineering Company based on CCS Provided “Guiding Principles” that only left the Consulting Company the option of recommending shutting down Graham and Marion. This is an old trick. Government agents closely specify certain analysis that they know will the outside analysis will recommend what THEY want it to recommend. If anybody is interested, this Engineering Study is on CCS’s Board docs for all to see. Look it up and see for yourselves. If you can’t figure it out, call Robert Aand he will explain to you what to look for. (Hint: Look in the Guiding Principles and find the part that limits the scope of the work to only consider Maintenance of all the OLD CCS property, withy NO consideration of new construction.)
  • So, Graham and Marion was shut down with all the students distributed to other schools. Causing much over-crowding at Jefferson.
  • The uproar over the Graham and Marion shutdown has mostly subsided now and it is time to carry out the land flip scheme. The CCS School Board Chairman, Robert Queen and his Waterboys (Joel Shores. Ron Humphries, Rodney Fitch, Greg Traylor, and later Walter Scott Spurling came together and utilized their majority status to declare Graham and Marion Schools as surplus property. This declaration of surplus was necessary to set up the transfer/sale Graham and Marion.
  • By law, the CCS School Board had to first offer the Graham and Marion property to the Cleveland County Commissioners. Which CCS did.
  • The Commissioners (Kevin Gordon, Johnny Hutchins, Deb Hardin, Doug Bridges and Ronnie Whetstine have acted slowly to respond to the CCS offer to sell Graham and Marion to the CC Commissioners. Mostly because the County was broke from the New Justice Center fiasco and the forced EMS takeover of the CC Rescue Squads. Other country projects are also on hold, like transferring the Board of Elections to the old Shelby Rescue Squad (empty) building’s renovation. And other projects and too many giveaways.
  • At the October 2024 CCS School Board meeting the CCS School Board, as directed by Robert Queen voted (8-1) twice to consider transfer of one of the two Graham and Marion Schools to the City of Shelby. And sell off the other school at auction. The votes were taken with little to no questions or discussion allowed by Chairman Robert Queen. Danny Blanton was the lone dissenting vote both times.
  • The 8-1 vote including Ronnie Grigg and Aaron Bridges voting AYE, along with Queen, Shores, Humphries, Fitch Taylor and Spurling. Again, Danny Blanton was the lone dissenting vote both times.

obert A has always reckoned that IF He was an elected official, his position on voting for anything would go like this. Robert A’s vote would ALWAYS be NO until he was provided enough information and justification to vote YES!! Robert A clearly saw that there was NOT information and justification enough to vote yes and was particularly disappointed that Ronnie Grigg and Aaron Bridges would have voted Yes without the information and justification to vote yes. Some believe Grigg and Bridges later learned enough to regret their YES vote. Robert A believes such incompetence, especially with two years of hard experience is unacceptable. And expects much better performance in their CCS School Board performance from now on. Especially at the upcoming and suspiciously and illegally rescheduled November 4, 2024 School Board Meeting.

Folks, This November 4th, 2024 CCS School Board Meeting agenda is NOT yet available. Which is the MO of both the Rogue Republican heads of the Commissioners as well as the CCS School Board. HOWEVER, it is advisable for all CC Parents, voters and citizens to turn out and attend this November 4, 2024 Meeting. So, Folks come on down to this meeting and sit on the very first row with Robert A.

Folks, November 5, 2024 is Election Day! If you haven’t already voted, please join Robert A in voting in-person and on election day in Cleveland County for the last 34 years.

ALSO Note that NOBODY has come forward with this perfect record that Robert A has. Not even for a $100 Reward.
