“Step on a crack, break your mama’s back!!” Superstition is reason why the KM Recycling Center Closed?

The lying Commissioners and the Shelby Star Team Up Again!!! The CC Midpines Recycling Center cover-up continues!! Report, engineering expertise and satire is provided by Robert A Proof provided by the Shelby Star and the Commissioners-In a picture!!

The dog-killing Cleveland County Commissioners just can’t quit with their lying, deceptions and cover-ups. Here it is several articles in rapid succession, the secret high dollar giveaways and high paying job lies about Project Sunrise, the dog killings at the CC Animal Services, the first claim of phony “safety concern” at the Midpines Recycling Center with all the lies deception and cover-up. And now the Commissioners and the Star have doubled down with their lies and deceptions about the Midpines Recycling Center to the point of silliness and stupidity. The Commissioners and the Shelby Daily Liar have provided to Robert A and the Cleveland County citizens irrefutable proof, in one picture, that all their safety claims are 100% fabricated and wrong!!

The Star Article and that “tell the tale” picture that was provided to Robert A by Newsbreak is shown below in its entirety. Note that the Star Editor has weighed in as the author in an attempt to validate the lie and deception. (It didn’t work.) Please read the article and inspect the picture closely. The proof of the matter is clearly shown. If you don’t see it, keep reading. Robert A will explain at the end of the article. (Hint, the truth is in what you DON’T SEE.)
Why the Kings Mountain recycling center is closed: By Diane Turbyfill, Shelby Star Editor

A recycling center in Kings Mountain has closed because of safety concerns.

The Midpines Recycling Center, located at 615 Margrace Road, will be closed indefinitely.

The site, which opened in 1991, was closed Thursday after the Cleveland County Solid Waste director surveyed the property for possible upgrades. During that inspection, concerns arose regarding the structural integrity of the concrete driving and unloading areas.

“In an abundance of caution, the site has been closed to protect and preserve the public’s safety allowing the county to evaluate the remediation options available,” county officials told The Star in an email.

In a press release, Cleveland County leaders encouraged residents to use alternate centers including the Oak Grove Recycling Center, 1127 Oak Grove Road, Kings Mountain, and the Earl/198 Recycling Center, 2522 Blacksburg Road, Grover.
The Midpines Center takes in an average of 3,940 tons of waste per year.

The county said the nearest site to the closed property is Oak Grove Recycling Center which was recently upgraded to accommodate a larger volume of waste.

There should not be an issue taking in additional waste, county officials said, and with staff from Midpines moving over, there should not be a problem with the higher traffic and volume.

Further studies will be conducted on the site to determine the future of the property.
“Cleveland County’s Solid Waste Department has already begun removing sections of concrete for further evaluation by structural engineers,” said Josh Davis, solid waste director. “Midpines is one of our busiest recycling centers. Review and evaluations will include both temporary and permanent options to serve the citizens of this area.”

Cleveland County Recycling Centers are open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

What you see in the picture is a big CAT piece of heavy industrial equipment that was used break up a large section of concrete “slab on grade” pavement that was poured over 30 years ago at the Midpines Recycling Center location and the broken pieces pushed up into a long pile. It appears that the concrete pavement did not include reinforcing bars or wire mesh. This is often the case with home driveways and sidewalks that do not have large and heavy vehicles driving upon them. It is a known fact that most concrete installations will crack, that reinforcement is required for vertical (wall) concrete installations and reinforcement is not always required for slab on grade concrete installations as the load on the slab is passed directly to the soil (ground or “grade”) underneath. However, reinforcement will reduce cracks and the potential for cracking in concrete. And if there is cracking, reinforcement will help hold the concrete pieces together if the cracking is severe.

What you don’t see at this Midpines Recycling Center is the grade beneath the concrete having voids, holes, erosion areas, deep depressions or anything else underneath that would cause serious injury to anyone or anything that might fall into a void if the concrete surface above happened to give way. This means that there was absolutely NO real safety concern at the Midpines Recycling Center due to cracks in the concrete surface. It also means the grade, the soil underneath the concrete was sufficiently packed and is still sufficiently packed and ready for repaving with the appropriate concrete as early as tomorrow morning after the mess is cleaned up. This is clearly indicated by NO damage to the “grade” below the concrete surface from the big and heavy CAT equipment, as shown in the picture, that was driven all around the site breaking up the concrete surface and pushing the broken concrete pieces into piles. Note that Robert A examined this picture with enlarged images and high-powered magnifying glasses during his inspection and urges readers to do the same.
This picture PROVES there were NO serious safety concerns, then or now, at the Midpines Recycling Center caused by even an extensive amount of concrete paving being cracked. That the Commissioners “fear” of safety concerns, if not just a deception related to another Casino land-scam, were still unfounded.

If Robert A were a duly elected Cleveland County Commissioner at this very moment, he would vote to instruct Cleveland County employees to clean up the mess at Midpines ASAP and make all arrangements as necessary to repour the torn up concrete driving areas at Midpines immediately, if not sooner. That no such land-scam as previously mentioned going unnoticed or unreported on Robert A’s watch as a Commissioner or a blogger. Also, if there were a proven conspiracy to defraud the citizens of Cleveland County, Robert A would immediately take appropriate disciplinary action against ALL those that were involved. Including any fellow Commissioners. Do the Crime, Serve the Time! No more “passing the trash” with Robert A around. (Pardon the pun.)

As it stands right now, it certainly appears that any non-criminal explanation for all this hub-bub regarding serious safety concerns about cracked concrete at Midpines appears to be derived from a childhood suspicion based on this little childhood ditty: “Step on a crack, Break your mama’s back!” Grow up CC Commissioners or GO TO JAIL!! Whichever is appropriate to this and other situations. Robert A is watching YOU!! Just as hard and as much as YOU are watching HIM!!
