CCS School Board SNUBS Burns HS Championship Team!!! Voters should snub all the incumbent CCSB Members in the 2024!! Eyewitness report and recommendations provided Robert A
The Cleveland County School Board is ALWAYS big on bringing Crest, Shelby and Kings Mountain sports teams into School Board meetings for photo-ops with the School Board. But NOT for the THIS Burns High School 2023 State Championship Baseball team at the June 12, 2023 School Board Meeting. NO INVITATION WHATSOEVER!!
The obvious question is, WHY NOT???
An obvious conclusion from a casual observer would be this: is because of the Senior Prank gone wrong (vandalism) at Burns High School. But, at the May 30, 2023 School Board Meeting the vandalism perpetrators were all brought in and treated like HEROS. Photo-ops and all-before and after the meeting. Not during the official meeting.
So, what gives here??? Criminal Perpetrators are honored while the State Championship Baseball Team (and coaches) are snubbed. CCSB Chairman Robert Queen praises the BHS principal while the BHS State Championship team is ignored.
These are NOT questions for Robert A to guess about and half-ass attempt answer. These questions have to be answered by the School Board itself. All of them! So, if you want an answer, call the CCS School Board and DEMAND an answer!!
As far as Robert A, who is a 1965 graduate of Burns at Fallston High School, is concerned; every voter in Cleveland County that lives North of the Shelby City Limits should refuse to vote to re-elect Robert Queen, Joel Shores, Rodney Fitch, Ron Humphries, and Greg Taylor in the 2024 School Board Elections. The same for every voter South of the Shelby City Limits. Get rid of them all!!!
Now folks, do I have your attention???
There was some mention that the Burns Baseball Team had a conflict with last night’s school board meeting because of an American Legion Baseball Game somewhere. With all the lies and cover-ups going around, Robert A doesn’t believe a word that he is told in this regard.
However, certain things have come to light that proves a criminal conspiracy by CCS Superintendent Stephen Fisher, certain School Board Members including Robert Queen, Ron Humphries and others, The Burns High School Principal, Certain BHS Coaches and even reaching into Cleveland County Law Enforcement to conceal the fact that a crime (Vandalism) had been committed.
It goes like this. The BHS Senior Prank vandalism crowd included some BHS Baseball Players. It those individual players had been charged like all the other vandalism perpetrators that were arrested and charged in Lincoln County, Charlotte/Mecklenburg County, Union County, Cabarrus County and elsewhere, they and perhaps the entire BHS Baseball Team would have been suspended from eligibility to play in those State Championship Baseball Tournaments. Ergo, NO STATE CHAMPIONSHIP for BHS.
School Board Member and notorious “Bible Thumper” Ron Humphries, in particular, was involved nose-deep in this felony criminal conspiracy. According to Humphries, in front of witnesses, he repeatedly stated that it was “NOT MY JOB” to call in the vandalism crime to law enforcement. Repeatedly Humphries stated that it was the SRO’s job to call in the crimes that had been committed at BHS to law enforcement. Also, clearly trying to bring Sheriff Alan Norman into the conspiracy.
Then, all these un-convicted felons further conspired to lay all the blame on School Board Members Ronnie Grigg and Danny Blanton for exercising their First Amendment rights to speak to the Press about holding people accountable for their own actions.
No folks, Ronnie Grigg and Danny Blanton are HEROs for getting to the bottom of this vandalism of school property crime. Which is totally minor as compared to the criminal conspiracy felony cover-up crimes that the whole slew of CCS and other officials have found themselves tied-up in. All beginning with an addled-headed CCS Principal who let a group of teenagers into Burns High School and failed to properly supervise them.
“Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.” (Sir Walter Scott 1808)
Folks, this ain’t over ‘til it’s over!!!
