Folks, in case you haven’t been paying attention, there is now a nation-wide effort to take back “education” from School Boards and government agencies and place it in the hands of parents. I’ve been saying that for years, in lots of different ways. Taxpayers, voters, citizens, etc. These efforts have caused political turmoil in Virginia and other places. Including Cleveland County, North Carolina. Political turmoil that has led to throwing out the old guard corrupt politicians and bringing in the new. Cleveland County has been slow in reforming and throwing out the corruption-but things are speeding up considerably. Come to the Monday, November 8, 2021 School Board meeting and see for yourself.

Also, remember that the Trump-Haters in both the US Senate and the US House have just put all of us US taxpayers in the hole for another $1.7 TRILLION. Not even counting the doubling of the price of gas and all the other inflated prices.

There is good news though!!

Sources tell me that the school board 2022 election candidates have all been reading my articles. And have seen the errors of their ways in believing the self-proclaimed Republican Election false gods; Dennis Bailey, Kevin Whisnant, Ron Humphries, David Allen Robert “Luke” Queen and secret members Wes Westmoreland and Rev. Dr. Lamont Littlejohn and rejected their indoctrination that the first order of business is getting Danny Blanton off the school board in 2022. Indeed, the recruits are now said to be supporters of Danny Blanton.

Also, there are a few other things to Remember:
North Carolina law requires school boards and other governmental agencies hold open meetings and that the public must be allowed to speak. The NC law specifies at least three minutes per citizen.
The School Board has passed a “policy” that a citizen is allowed only a maximum of three minutes to speak. School Board policy does NOT overrule State Law.
Any school board member can make a motion to allow additional time for members of the public to speak as well as temporarily waive any other part of the so-called “policy” as necessary to allow members of the public to speak or to allow extra time.

Therefore, we recommend the public and citizens of Cleveland County to turn out and fill up the school board meeting auditorium. And get there early and sign up to speak.

Also, get there early so the so-called Chairman and Superintendent can’t fill up all the seats with Central Office personnel on school time. This is an old trick to limit public attendance. Another trick CCS uses is to bring out groups of students for special recognition. This also brings out the parents of those students which fills up the room. But those special recognitions and their parents usually leave right after the special recognition. So, if there is a crowd, don’t be tempted to leave. Stand around the room or just outside and wait a few minutes for the meeting room to clear. You will be glad you did.

Also, folks, remember that this November 8th meeting is the last meeting of Luke Queen’ term as Chairman, pending reelection at the December 14th Meeting. Remember to turn out to that December 14th, 2021 School Board Meeting also. Call your favorite school board member and urge them to nominate and vote for Danny Blanton for the School Board Chairman. It is time to stop these foolish “Dirty Trick” games by the School Board and demand that parents, citizens and students be listened to at School Board Meetings.
