Comments on Part I and Part II Articles!! Regarding Recommendations for School Board Chairman Robert Queen and member Poodle Glover to Resign!! Comments Forwarded by Robert A. Williams

From Rev. Dante Murphy:

Mr. Williams,

It grieves me that Chairman Robert Queen is becoming what he once despised. There are great pressures put upon caring and passionate citizens when they rub shoulders with the status quo of corruption. I was concerned when I first heard Mr. Queen was a member of the Cleveland Community College Board of Trustees. The reality is that you do not sit on these boards unless there is some level of allegiance to the powers that be.

Blacks know this all too well and naturally “coon out” to gain acceptance. White people are no different in this respect. I have maintained for years that we do not face racism as much as we do corruption.

I am hopeful that Mr. Queen will change the error of his ways and realize that power grabs ultimately make one look foolish and desperate. I could not overcome the sickening in my stomach when he disclosed that his making a call to House Speaker Moore yielded 2000 additional vaccines. Certainly House Speaker Moore understands the desperate need for vaccines and should not require a phone call to remind him.

Our public schools are in trouble and I hope the Republican leadership on the Cleveland County Board of Education resist the temptation to continue down the same road of corruption.

Rev. Dante’ Murphy

From Willie Green:

One thing I have always respected about Robert is his consistency in his criticism of three basic expectations of our public officials (Republicans, Democrats and Independents) (1) the need for transparency in government and public officials, (2) the elimination of corruption in government and with our public officials (3) wasteful spending by our government officials of taxpayers money.

The new school board members all ran on transparency, but we now see they have become what they once despised and that promise of transparency has now been broken. I applaud Robert for being consistent on his criticism of the new board members, even after he endorsed all of them and praised them in the first two school board meetings.

My thoughts are, all these issues about returning to school, the Ten Commandments and having key fobs to enter the schools are all bright shiny objects that is detracting people from the true hidden agenda of the new board members. Just follow the money.

The science and reduction of COVID cases will determine the return to school date, the Ten Commandment issue has been settled in the US Supreme Court and NO non-personnel should have access to enter any schools other than through the front door and check in with the school principal. So why are they spending so much time on these issues? Because they are just distractions.

Pay close attention to what happens in these committee meetings. That’s is where the crimes and corruption are being committed.
