Rodney Fitch for School Board!!! Champion of School Security, Prayer and Moral Teachings!!! Provides the “Missing Link!” Recommendation by Robert A. Williams

For those citizens that only get their voter information from the various Candidate Forums, like the one held at Cleveland Community College where the College, the Cleveland County Chamber and the Shelby Star comes up with the so-called “secret questions,” several obvious issues of our times never get asked. Issues like school security, school Prayer and morality according to Biblical Teachings. Rodney Fitch provides that “Missing Link” that has never been elected to the Cleveland County School Board. (Except for school board member Phillip “Bully” Glover, who has been a “dud” in anything related to leadership of any kind.) That “Missing Link” being a positive mix of education, training, experience, personality, commitment, and leadership-all geared to make the Educational Experience at CCS the best that it can be-as well as providing expert advice and decision making regarding school security, incorporating security attributes into new school design and construction, incorporating security advice and decision making into utilizing and “marrying’ school personnel (teachers and staff) into the security program to multiply the security aspects at schools into an efficient and most cost effective manner. As well as having a large say into school lesson plans and such so that the students are taught discipline, reading, writing, math, critical thinking, common sense skills and the moral teachings of the Biblical kind that once had the United States educational system number one in the world.

This is a big task all by itself. And long overdue at Cleveland County Schools. Especially on the School Board! But there is more.

Rodney Fitch was a huge part of the large effort several years ago to bring out people of faith in support of a Prayer at the Beginning of School Board meetings. Attendance at school bord meetings doubled and redoubled again. And again and again. So much so that the existing school board, facing an election, had to institute some sort of Prayer Policy. But the devil was in the details of that Prayer Policy and its implementation. First, the length of the Prayer was limited to 90 seconds. That is 90 SECONDS. Half of the amount of the very short time that citizens are allowed to speak during the Citizens Recognition section of the school board meeting agenda.

This attempt to limit all forms of public participation is presently a large issue for the School Board and part of an overall and determined operation at Cleveland County Schools to totally silence the “truth” coming out about just how bad CCS really is. Everything from failing schools to sexual perverts preying on innocent students. The present school board has even taken to moving public participation to the end of meeting so that all the students and parents attending the meeting will be dismissed before the public has a chance to speak. Totally for the purpose of discouraging the public from waiting an hour or more before their turn comes to speak. Such overt actions of the corrupt existing school board majority to public participation has also doubled down on school board meeting Prayer. So, the 90 second limit on Prayer and many other acts of discouragement has the effect of eliminating Prayer-almost altogether. A Rodney Fitch on the School Board would be a strong voice of support to rip-away all the artificial “Policies” put forth by the existing school board and re-ignite the public’s interest in attending school board meetings as well as re-establishing GOD into Cleveland County Schools. With the obvious advantages that previous school boards took away from Cleveland County students being returned to them. A future that I s bright, not dim, for Cleveland County overall.

Another huge advantage of electing Rodney Fitch to the school board is that Rodney Fitch would NOT be afraid to speak up for what is “right” and do the same to identify the many things that are WRONG at CCS. And would not be cow-towed into doing otherwise. This has been a major problem on the present school board. The present school board “Prides” itself on trying to eliminate discussion and vote FOR every cover-up scheme with a unanimous vote of approval. It “galls” them severely when School Board member Danny Blanton (A “rogue” to their way of thinking) speaks out or votes “NO” on a regular basis. Rodney Fitch would put a stop to this practice by simply voting to allow Danny Blanton, and anybody else as a duly elected school board member, to speak out. And also “second” any motion that needs to b e discussed. A vote for “Transparency” and NOT for cover-up can be depended upon by Rodney Fitch!!!

Folks, the items listed above seem to me to indicate that Rodney Fitch should be given ONE of your Five votes for the Cleveland County School Board in the 2020 Republican Primary Election. The Cleveland County School Board vote is near the last item on that Primary Election Ballot. On the back side of the ballot, so be sure to turn your ballot over to complete your voting.

Their personal strengths, how those strengths would work together to produce the most effective NEW school board MAJORITY to make the changes that are necessary at Cleveland County Schools as well as in the overall county Government.

Folks, be sure to get out to vote in this Primary Election for the School Board and the County Commissioner’s Primary Elections. There are no primary elections for Democrats seeking those offices. We have combined our recommendations for these offices as they will all have to work together to get Cleveland County and Cleveland County Schools back into working order.
