CCS Board Chairman Phillip “Bully” Glover: A Bully who claims he is being bullied. A Liar who claims others are lying about him. The Facts of the matter: Report by Robert A. Williams

Four term School Board member and Board Chairman Phillip “Bully” Glover, up for election this year, has a problem. REALITY!!! And Bully is not coping very well.

Bully finished a dismal third place out of four in last week’s Democrat Primary Election.
A sitting Board Chairman who has done a good job should have finished in First Place. That must have been Bully’s first “reality check” after months, years, of denial that his way of doing things has not been in the best interest of CCS and especially our children.

And the public is on to the real Phillip Bully Glover. Once and for all.

Over the past several years Bully Glover has carefully orchestrated his role as the CCS Board Chairman to shut down and shut-up Board Member Danny Blanton as well as the public. Bully has apparently persuaded all the other Board Members to never “second” a motion by Danny Blanton, which the other Board Members, including Kathy Falls, have gone along with. Bully has lead the Board in the Board practice of never answering or investigating public complaints to the Board that were brought up during the Board’s Public Participation part of their Board Meetings that are required by State Law. Bully once threatened Robert Queen, now an election opponent, with ejection from the meeting because Bully ordered Mr. Queen to stop talking before Queen had finished his last sentence of his prepared statement. Bully recently did indeed have a woman ejected because she and everyone else objected to Bully refusing to allow Danny Blanton to speak regarding a subject that had been brought up. Bully, as CCS Board Chairman, is responsible for allowing (and perhaps ordering) that Freedom of Information Act requests not be complied with. Bully, as CCS Chairman, refused to allow a member of the public-me to attend a public meeting of the CCS Board to inspect construction progress and the status of the new North Shelby School Project that is twice as costly per square foot as the new Pinnacle Classical Academy school construction. Bully and Jo Boggs lied to Elizabeth Baptist Church Deacon Billy Scruggs about why CCS had changed the school bus route and stop for Mr. Scruggs grandson to a much more dangerous location. You don’t have to believe me, ask Mr. and Mrs. Billy Scruggs. They will certainly be glad to fill you in on the details of that.

Now, CCS “wheels” including Board Chairman Bully Glover are responsible for banning the Burns High School FFA Club’s Fair Booth because it contained cotton and a few words from the song “Dixie,” A song that calls the South the “Land of Cotton” and “Old times are not forgotten.” A song that Abraham Lincoln had played at many of his rallies and Jefferson Davis had played at his inauguration as President of the Confederated States of America. This banning by CCS is said to have come about by a fear that someone would be offended, yet that someone cannot be found or identified as of yet anyway. And perhaps doesn’t exist outside the warped minds of CCS Wheels like Bully, Kathy Falls and others.

All this reality that has come down on Bully Glover right before his re-election bid has apparently caused mental anguish for Bully. As they say, “the truth hurts” and Bully says that is “cruel.” Bully also says that he didn’t know anything about the banning of the FFA Exhibit (although I had copied him with my original article September 27, 2017, asking him for comments and warning “be silent at your own risk”) and that he had done NOTHING wrong. Blaming all his lying troubles on his political opponents.

Again, don’t believe me. Read Bully’s own words from his public Facebook Account as shown below. Also know that Bully has been deleting negative comments and leaving positive comments on this Facebook Post! My question is who needs a story teller, liar, wimp and crybaby like Phillip “Bully” Glover on the Cleveland County School Board??? I certainly don’t and I am not afraid to recommend all the smart voters in Cleveland County to vote for Danny Blanton, Rodney Fitch, Robert Queen and Devin Whisnant for the School Board on November 7, 2017. Let’s put a stop to all the foolishness going on at CCS once and for all.

CCS Board Chairman Phillip Glover’s latest Facebook Post September 28, 2017

Phillip Glover
3 hrs ·

Enough is enough. Over the past two days, my name and my character have been questioned because of false allegations made by some candidates and their supporters.

These individuals have created a controversy and put the blame on me, when I had absolutely nothing to do with it. The booth at the fair was created and removed by Tuesday, and the first time I was made aware of it was Wednesday. The removal of the booth was the decision of the teachers who created it. I had no conversation or any kind of contact with them at all. It’s shocking that the controversy went from picking cotton to picking on Phillip.

Some people will criticize no matter what, but the reality is that this has nothing to do with the fair. They are trying to attack me personally with the goal of furthering themselves. Tell these people who enjoy bashing others to stop and get the facts. This behavior is cruel.

I will tell you this. When my family and I are praying for comfort and peace, we are lifting our enemies up in prayer, also. We would like for them to turn this negative energy around and use it to build others up.

At first, I thought it would be best not to comment on social media. However, I decided I will stand up for myself and not be bullied. You have a choice. You can vote for those candidates who will lie to you. Or, you can give me support and vote for me because I will tell the truth and continue to look out for our Cleveland County Schools community. They lied about me, and don’t think they won’t lie about you if it gets them farther. If they feel anyone is in their way, they will generate lies to try and hurt anyone’s character. I have done NOTHING wrong.

Burns High School’s Fair Exhibit Ruled Racially Insensitive!!! CCS Administration/Board Order Burns Exhibit Removed!! The Exhibit on the Heritage of Cleveland County contained Cotton and was considered Offensive!!! –Article written by Robert A. Williams based on anonymous report

A “Private Caller” left a stern message this afternoon that I should investigate how the Cleveland County School Board and Superintendent Stephen Fisher had received a complaint that the Burns High School Fair Exhibit was considered “racially insensitive and offensive” and ordered the Burns Exhibit removed from the Fairgrounds. The Burns Exhibit Theme was about the Heritage of Cleveland County and contained cotton and references, including songs, related to cotton. Among other things.

The first song that came to my mind me was “Dixie” which goes like this: (everybody knows the tune)
“Oh, I wish I wuz in the Land of Cotton,
old times there are not forgotten.
Look Away, Look Away, Look Away Dixie Land.
In Dixie Land where I was born in,
early on a frosty morning.
Look away, Look away, look away Dixie Land.
I wish I was in Dixie, Hooray! Hooray!
In Dixie’s Land I’ll take my stand, to live and die in Dixie.
Away, away, away down south in Dixie!
Away, away, away down south in Dixie!

It seems that picking cotton and everything about Southern Heritage is offensive to some folks these days and Cleveland County Schools seem to want to re-write the well documented history of Cleveland County to leave out any references to cotton, just like they have left out Biblical Teachings of what is right and what is wrong. If you look hard and close at the death spiral of our educational system here in Cleveland County as well as North Carolina and the USA, you will easily conclude that re-writing history, taking away Biblical Teachings (and Prayer) and the death spiral of our educational system goes hand in glove with one another. Something has got to give if our Country, our state and our county will ever prosper again. And banning the Burns Fair Exhibit is certainly NOT the way to go with that. I know for a fact that myself and just about every white and black person in Cleveland County over the age of 21 has spent time in the cotton fields in Cleveland County. Often for the express purpose of having spending money for the Fair.

Folks, I plan to do my part if finding out the rest of the facts regarding the Burns Fair Exhibit being removed from the Cleveland County Fair. But you have to do your part too. You can call the CCS Superintendent Stephen Fisher and demand some answers. Call CCS Board members and let them know how you feel about all this stupid so called “political correctness” that has no correctness associated with it. No common sense either. You must also get yourself down to the voting booths on Election Day. This is an Election Year for the School Board and you must do your duty and vote for those who will put a stop to all this mess. If you go to the Fair this year, or any political forum, listen close to Danny Blanton, Robert Queen, Rodney Fitch and Kevin Whisnant. These folks are candidates for the school board and, if elected, you will find such a mess as this Fair Booth fiasco “Gone with the Wind???” I am sure if you wrote these guys a check for a campaign donation it would help them get their word out to the public. And we would all appreciate that. Get yourself a yard sign and maybe a tee-shirt too.

School Board, Water Board and all the other elections this year will soon start on October 19, 2017 with Early Voting. The General Election Final Day will be November 7, 2017. Be sure to go vote and take a crowd with you. Also, be sure to wear that special cotton shirt when you go vote. Be proud of your heritage and your days in the cotton patch. That hard work built our character. Be especially proud of who you vote for too, knowing that changes for the better will soon be coming.

School Board Member Danny Blanton’s Common Sense Questions Expose Major Problems at CCS during September 11, 2017 School Board Meeting!!! –Report, evaluation provided by Robert A. Williams

The September 11, 2017 School Board Meeting was held amidst the residual winds and rains of Hurricane Irma that swept to the West of us at the last few hours and mostly missed Cleveland County. Hurricane Irma was the largest and most ferocious Atlantic Ocean Hurricane in the history of the known world. In many respects Hurricane Irma didn’t hold a candle to the election year storm that has hit the terrified School Board members with the truth. The truth that they have covered up for so long that has now exploded in their faces.

If that sounded like a strange introduction to this article an even stranger event is how some school board members and candidates, especially Kathy Falls, are now introducing their campaign lies into school board meetings and how the CCS administration is trying to help them. I suppose the CCS administration is also trying to help themselves while they are at it. I also started this article out like I did because Hurricane Irma caused the opening items on the agenda involving students and guest recognition to be cancelled due to the inclement weather. As for myself, I didn’t show up either. I watched the meeting on the official school website and, after you read the rest of this article, watch that video for yourself. I am sure you will come to the same conclusions that I did.

Let’s start describing what all this means by giving you notice that this article will not stick with the School Board Meeting Agenda as it was laid out, but by how the cover-up flows. We have captured certain video clips of the September 11, 2017 school board meeting to prove our point. You are certainly welcome to go on the CCS Website and watch the blow by blow recording of this meeting. We are also provided some educational related “talking points” and the truth of the matter as shown below.

Facts of the matter:
1. The North Carolina General Assembly has provided increased funding to schools every year since the Republicans have come into the majority power in Raleigh.

2. The NC General Assembly has also taken a stronger hand in mandating school curricula and budgetary spending such that there is an increase in educational opportunities for students as well as accountability standards for every school. The politically structured “Common Core” standards once heartily embraced by the Cleveland County School Board (as late as last year) have been discontinued by order of the NC General Assembly.

3. The NC General Assembly has also allowed local school boards flexibility to move budget items around so that more funds can be made available to better fund certain items that work well for the schools and education, but that funding will have to come out of other items that have proved themselves to be wasteful or ineffective.

4. We will also mention that the Cleveland County Commissioners, since school merger have decreased overall funding to schools by adopting a per student funding method that accounts for the full 15 cent per $100 tax evaluation revenue and then adjusting down the original county funding portion of the total funding to schools to match the per student funding formula. This is a very sneaky way for the county commissioners to steal tax money from educating our children and then give it away for so called economic development “tools” (rhymes with “fools”) like the ALWS world series, the Earl Scruggs Center, the LeGrand Center, the Shooting Range and other such projects that do not and will never operate without significant $millions in Taxpayer subsidy every year.

5. School Board Member Danny Blanton has brought up many common sense approaches to the goings on at CCS over the past four years. The rest of the School Board members, and especially Board Chairman Phillip “Bully” Glover have ignored, tried to shut down and have basically refused to let any substantial item that Danny Blanton brings up be seriously discussed and voted upon. Superintendents Bruce Boyles as well as Stephen Fisher have aided and abetted with the other board members in an effort to shut-up and shut-down Danny Blanton. But Blanton has adapted and now asks his common sense questions in what I have previously called a “Gomer Pyle” style that has rocked the world at CCS Board meetings. But you must have attended or watched the video of CCS Board meetings to get the full effect and impact of Blanton’s influence on the CCS Board and how the truth is now coming out as never before.

6. CCS and Cleveland Community College have deceptively teamed up to eliminate vocational training such as welding, machining, shop, carpentry, wood working, agriculture, etc. in such a way that those courses, with a few more thrown in, will be taught at CCC instead of at High Schools. The “stated” purpose being it costs too much to buy the vocational equipment for each high schools to teach such courses on CCS premises. Logic dictates the real purpose is to deceivingly draw in high school students into the now scandalous “dual enrollment programs” pushed by both CCS and CCC to “suck up” (divert) funding provided by the NC General Assembly for better educating vocational students for use for improper purposes by CCS and CCC. (A new School Board majority would insist on better accountability of these funds. Starting with CCS as the CCC Board of Trustees are presently in gridlock and denial.) Historically, as I am a witness, vocational courses taught in high school have provided a very valuable lifetime understanding of how things work and how to fix things when they break down. Such training is invaluable in helping vocational students find jobs in a 21st Century environment as no matter how good office jobs are, things break down mechanically and have to be fixed by someone who knows what they are doing.

7. Cursive writing. Reports from businesses, employers, parents, bank tellers, retail stores, etc. indicate that CCS has graduated many thousands of students over the years who cannot read or write cursive writings. These high school graduates, when they get their paychecks (if they can find a job) cannot sign their paychecks with a signature. They cannot read letters, instructions, or even Historic Documents like the Declaration of Independence because they are written in cursive. This has become a campaign issue as some candidates like Kathy Falls are taking up for CCS for not properly preparing students for a career after High School.

Now, for the September 11, 2017 School Board meeting:

Farm Bureau Scholarship Presentation:
One of the first substantive items on the agenda was a presentation by Farm Bureau Representative Glenda Greene regarding Farm Bureau Scholarships. The presentation was multi-subject and interesting. At one point Board Member Jo Boggs asked Mrs. Greene if a particular program was also associated with the Alliance for Health Program run out of the Health Department. Mrs. Greene said that it was. Then Boggs stated, “I serve on that (Health Department) Board.” You have to wonder why, if Jo Boggs is on “that Board,” didn’t she know they were associated with a Farm Bureau program? It sounds to me like Jo Boggs is on two boards too many? The Health Department Board and the School Board. It is too bad that Jo Boggs is not up for election this year too.

Bully Glover speaks up saying his kids enjoy planting seeds. You would think Bully would be more involved with advocating the teaching of agriculture and vocational courses at CCS. But no. Apparently just as soon as Bully and the rest of the Board get their pictures taken with the Farm Bureau rep and she leaves, all that kind of thought must have been forgotten by Bully and most of the rest of the school board.

Shearra Miller asked a question that backfired on her. Miller asks if the Farm Bureau Scholarship programs apply only to Cleveland County or to people who live in the county and have property outside the county. Mrs. Greene stated, regarding the scholarship programs, that they were within the county. Then she added Farm Bureau had also provided materials to Pinnacle Classical Academy-a Charter School that has out performed CCS at every turn and that CCS runs down at every opportunity-especially Kathy Falls. Falls says CCS has to teach “all the children,” a statement many consider racist and elitist. Fact is Pinnacle has to pick all their students from a lottery made up from a list of students that have applied. In this case apparently Pinnacle plans to out perform CCS on vocational programs too.

All in all, this Farm Bureau Scholarship presentation was entertaining to the Board and Board Member Danny Blanton did not take the opportunity to make the point as he often does that CCS should be doing more for students who will not be going to college. Overall, that would have been a minor part of such a topic as this. Probably a more important issue that should have been brought up was whether or not CCS was pushing for scholarships, for the most part, to go to Cleveland Community College as part of a quid pro quo arrangement-not in the best interest of the student or education in general. Sources indicate that is a high probability, but I can’t say more than that. Anyway, read on. The fuse to the fireworks has just been lit.

The next item is the Beginning Teacher Support Plan per Senate Bill 599 presented by Ms. Jennifer Walker.

Ms. Walker began her presentation by stating that her original plan presented to the school board and principals at the end of July 2017 had to be completely revised due to newly passed Senate Bill 599. One has to immediately wonder what the heck is going on here? And secondly, why was CCS caught by surprise by this new law that was introduced back in April?

First, CCS has many beginning teachers on a regular basis because of a large teacher turnover due to resignations that Danny Blanton has brought up on many occasions. When Mr. Blanton asks about this Superintendent Fisher goes into his “fast talking” mode and other board members try to shut down Mr. Blanton as I described in my last article about CCS Board Meetings. Scroll on back for this information. In the end Blanton is told that CCS is in line with other districts regarding teacher resignation rates. Perhaps I should have kept quite about Superintendent Fisher’s MO and the others as they have read my article and are trying to better use their “poker Faces” and slowing down their talking so nobody else will pick up on it. They try in this meeting but it doesn’t work too well.

Then, you have to wonder why the General Assembly is having to take time to write new laws that require any such Beginning Teacher Support Plan to begin with. Wouldn’t you think a Superintendent who makes over $200,000 counting benefits and all the other highly compensated administration folks in the Central Offices would be able to figure out such as this all by themselves? Well, they haven’t and apparently neither have the many other school districts and school boards haven’t either. Just another reason to get rid of the Cleveland County School Board’s good-ole-boys and good-ole-gals and let the other school districts do the same.

As for myself, me being me, I look up Senate Bill 599 to see for myself what it is supposed to do and what it says. WOW!!! I see Cleveland County Schools, especially the school board and high level administrators are in BIG trouble!!!

The short title of SB599 is simple enough. It reads ” Excellent Educators for Every Classroom.” Nothing is wrong with that. Among other things related to requiring and maintaining high teacher qualifications, the law itself aims to keep criminal and child sex offenders and such out of the classroom too. Again, there is nothing wrong with that. One problem I see with this Cleveland County School Board is that local boards are supposed to report criminal and sex offenders to the State Board so that the offender’s license is revoked-which means they can’t just move on to another school district and keep on with their predatory sexual offender stuff. That part of the law is good too, but the CCS Board likes to get their offenders to quietly resign so CCS won’t look bad. Then the offender just moves on to another school. Often out of state for a while and then back to North Carolina. Merrily, merrily, merrily leaving a string of sexual offended kids along the way. Be ready for a case just like this that I am working on for my series regarding “I smell a Rat down at the Courthouse.” If you think the courthouse crowd is mad at me for publishing the truth in the Mike Drake trying to protect his under-aged daughter from being sexually molested article, you ain’t seen nothing yet. Scroll on back and read those two articles and be ready for the next in the series. If you read this paragraph closely and live in the Shanghai area of Cleveland County you might have already figured out what and who that article will be about. And be ready to demand some resignations from the Cleveland County School Board. It’s about time CCS gets some cleaning-up instead of covering-up.

A tip for all you readers. Please read every article closely. The bad stuff going on at CCS, CCC and with the Commissioners just doesn’t happen one day and be gone the next. They have a continuing process where one thing leads to another. It just goes on and on. Election to Election. And the stuff continues forever until you readers turn into voters that show up on Election Day and send the bad guys and gals packing.

Back to the Beginning Teacher Support Plan presentation.

This Beginning Teacher Support Plan also included Mentors for beginning teachers and included funding from the State for this teacher mentoring program.

Just as soon as the floor was open for discussion, Board Member Danny Blanton immediately brought up, as he has many times before, that the teaching curriculum should ensure that the basics of education should be well covered in the classroom. By basics Blanton has explained many times that a student graduating from CCS High Schools should be able to count to 100 and be able to sign their paychecks in cursive. Blanton has previously explained that he hired some newly graduated students over the summer to help him put up hay and they could not count to 100 or sign their paychecks. The same experience many employers in Cleveland County have had regarding CCS educated graduates. Blanton also reminded the rest of the Board that the law requires that these basics be taught.

Watch the video below for Danny Blanton’s clear, cogent and responsible directions that a good school board member would present such fine expectations to the CCS Administration regarding the education of our children. If every school board member would back up Danny Blanton on such as this CCS would indeed be at the top “best” list for education in North Carolina and the USA. But it will soon be obvious the help on the school board that Danny Blanton and CCS students need will have to wait until the November 7, 2017 Election when Danny Blanton, Robert Queen, Kevin Whisnant, and Rodney Fitch win the school board elections.

Ms. Walker stated that counting and cursive writing was in the K-2 curriculum already. K-2 I wondered. So, I called some relatives that are in the Cleveland County School District, one recently graduated and the other a junior in high school. Oh yeah, they remembered being taught cursive in the second grade, but they never used it after that and have forgotten all about it now. And the crazy math stuff CCS teaches now makes no sense. Parents and grandparents well versed in mathematics cannot help the students because of the crazy way they are teaching it now. As for my own experience, people that were taught math the way I was taught math put a man on the moon. Now graduates of high school and maybe even college can’t make change for a $20 bill. Ask your children how to make change for a twenty if your purchase is $8.23. You will be surprised. You might as well forget about putting a man or woman back on the moon. The USA has to pay the Russians for hitching a ride to and from the international space station which is not nearly to the moon.

After Danny Blanton was finished Board Member Donnie Thurman, Jr. (whose seat is up for election this year but Thurman chose not to run for re-election) agreed with Danny Blanton that CCS should teach the basics well, but quickly went on to questions about the mentor program and how it should be expanded.

Then , the incredible happened. Board Member Kathy Falls, up for election this year, who refused to change her registration in time to avoid having to get her name on the ballot by the petition process, the one who sued the Elections Board and cost taxpayers lots of money, ups and tells Ms. Walker that “I’m kind of dumb!” Falls says some kids do math well and some kids do not. Some kids read well and some kids do not. We do the best we can with the kids we are sent. Kathy Falls is blaming all the problems with the CCS education on the students that “we (CCS) are sent.” Just like she blamed Speaker of the House Tim Moore for her own stupidity that caused her to have to get a petition with 500 signatures to get her name on the 2017 School Board ballot. Kathy Falls blames everything on somebody else, even school kids. Who needs anybody like that on the school board???

But that is not all regarding the stupidity of Kathy Falls as related to school board responsibilities. Just to make sure nobody can say I made all this up about Kathy Falls,
Below, is the the whole segment of Kathy Falls showing just how “dumb” she really is. Folks, you just can’t make this stuff up. And, it ain’t over yet! Read on.

http://citizensforgoodgovernment.org/up/kathyfalls.mp4

There is more discussion on the teacher mentoring part of the Beginning Teacher Support Plan with school board member Jeff Jones finally waking up from his deep sleep and taking the lead in this discussion. Mr. Jones even agrees with Danny Blanton that CCS needs better teacher retention and this mentoring program would help keep teachers at CCS. I can just suppose Mr. Jones was stung a bit by my last article where I said he didn’t say a peep the whole meeting. Jones made up for it tonight. And actually convinced everybody that the mentoring part of HB599 was a good thing.

But, Mr. Jones apparently didn’t realize that he had set the trap for other school board members who had their own agenda for things that was not in the best interest of the children in the CCS classroom.

Danny Blanton, always ready to support a good idea for educating CCS students asked Superintendent Fisher if CCS could do more to support the teacher mentoring program. Dr. Fisher stated that they had already budgeted all the funds the State provided for mentoring into the program. Danny Blanton came back and asked about shifting funds from other areas to this mentoring program. Fisher hemmed and hawed a bit, obviously trying to keep out of his fast talking mode, but finally admitted that moving such extra funds around could be done, but that the money would have to be taken away from something else that was important.

Little did Fisher know that he had just baited the trap that Jeff Jones had set.

Just a few minutes later the subject came up regarding an out of town School Board Association meeting that was soon coming up.

Then Danny Blanton sprang the trap shut on the School board members when he asked a simple question, Gomer Pyle style. “How many are going on this trip?” Blanton simply asked. Then all Hell breaks loose. All the other Board members immediately realize that the travel, lodging and meal money they are going to waste on this trip could have easily gone toward increasing the mentoring program that they had agreed was needed just minutes before. The jabbering started immediately. Kathy Falls jumps in all offended. Bully Glover, who apparently was trying not to be a bully tonight, back-slided to his old self. Glover says Dr. Fisher has been nominated for Superintendent of the Year and he (Glover) was going to support Fisher. Shearra Miller jumps in demanding why Danny Blanton had asked such a question. Blanton coolly stated “I just wanted to know.”

As I was sitting there watching this video, I decided I wanted to know something too. Just how much money does the CCS Board and Administration waste every year on boondoggle travel, fees, lodging and meals, especially to resorts like the Grove Park Inn in Asheville. So I immediately dashed off a Freedom of Information Act request asking for detailed records regarding school board travel expenses for each Board Member and for the Administration. I would bet the farm that I do not receive the information I asked for, even though it will be illegal not to provide it. Folks, I will let you know about this if I hear anything and even if I do not hear anything.

Sources say unnecessary travel by Board members is a big secret at CCS. If you want to stop such as this, turn out on Election Day and Vote for Danny Blanton, Robert Queen, Kevin Whisnant and Rodney Fitch for the School Board. They are the Dream Team of this years election.

Evaluating Results of Democrat School Board Primary Election!!– Dena Green–Biggest Winner!!– Phillip “Bully” Glover–Biggest Loser!!!– –Report and Evaluation by Robert A. Williams

Actually, the biggest winners in yesterday’s Democrat School Board Election are Republican School Board Candidates Danny Blanton (an incumbent), Robert Queen, Kevin Whisnant and Rodney Fitch. All the Democrats could do was turn out less than 4% of eligible Cleveland County voters. Basically 96+ percent of eligible voters just stayed home on Primary Election Day even with all the early voting opportunity. We should probably do away with this costly early voting fiasco anyway. Especially when hardly anyone shows up to vote. Even on Election Day.

This is also a tell tale sign of the demise of the Democrat Party in Cleveland County. Once upon a time (when I first registered and voted) you had to vote in the Democrat Primary to have a say in who the final elected official would be. And the entire Cleveland County Republican Party could have held their meetings in a telephone booth. Now it’s the Democrats that are superfluous, just like telephone booths. Making the School Board elections partisan has clearly separated the political winners and losers here in Cleveland County. Thank you Speaker of the House Tim Moore.

All that being said, let’s look at the obvious. Yesterdays Democrat Primary Elections had three groups: 1. The runaway top two winning candidates-Coleman Hunt and Dena Green, 2. The bottom two losers Bully Glover and Tommy Greene-about to become politically extinct like the dinosaurs and 3. The ones who never had a chance-Guy Suttle and Barbara Romich.

Race also had a measurable impact in elevating candidates Coleman Hunt and Dena Green to such a commanding lead in the Democrat School Board Primary Election. Probably more so for Coleman Hunt as he was likely to have many single-shot black votes. Race and single shot voting was not so much help to candidate Dena Green as was her stellar performance at the TEA Party forum a few weeks back. Based on her performance at the TEA Party forum, I did recommend double shot voting for Dena Green and Barbara Romich, but it was Dena Green who carried the day in that forum and yesterday’s election. I predict here and now that Dena Green will be a rising star in Cleveland County politics just as soon as she changes her registration to Republican. Bully Glover, Tommy Greene and Guy Suttle boycotted the TEA Party forum and their cowardice was reflected in the votes that they did NOT get in yesterday’s primary election. Also, Bully Glover may as well forget his future aspirations to run for Sheriff of Cleveland County. Well, he might run for Sheriff, but he will lose. Bully has well demonstrated he has already risen to his level of incompetence in elected office. Politically, Bully Glover is toast.

Probably the most telling in the very weak performance of Bully Glover and Bully-Lite Tommy Greene, both school board chairmen in their day. Neither of these candidates advocate transparency, accountability, educational performance and fiscal responsibility at our schools and have track records that show that. That is why the two Bully’s- Glover and Greene-boycotted the TEA Party forum. Neither could have withstood the scrutiny of well informed voters like the TEA Party crowd.

Especially Bully Glover, the present incumbent school board chairman. Yesterday’s vote was an almost total repudiation of Bully Glover and his disdain for the public, education and fiscal responsibility.

Now, I will predict the November 7, 2017 School Board General Election Results:

Winners-The four Winners are Incumbent Danny Blanton, Robert Queen, Rodney Fitch and Kevin Whisnant, not necessarily in that order.

Closely Followed by Dena Green.

Coleman Hunt, Kathy Falls, Tommy Greene and Phillip Glover bring up the rear but not necessarily in that order.

Folks, Remember this is Cleveland County. You can expect plenty of dirty politics, lies, deceptions and more lies. And maybe some crooked and unethical behavior between now and November 7, 2017. Stay tuned for the truth about CCS and the candidates that you are not likely to get from the Shelby Star or anywhere else.

Also folks, remember to thank Speaker of the House Tim Moore for his role in helping the public determine the best candidates for the school board. Re-elect Tim in 2018. And help elect Tim Moore to the office of NC Governor (or VP ) in 2020 or US Senator in 2020 or 2022. We gotta think ahead.

2017 Democrat Primary- School Board Results are In!!! Coleman Hunt and Dena Green Cruise, Phillip “Bully” Glover and Tommy “Bully-Lite” Greene Squeak in Win, Suttle and Romich are out. Report by Robert A. Williams

The Results are in for the 2017 Cleveland County School board Democrat Primary. The most disturbing news is 40,000 eligible voters stayed home and this election was decided by around 2,000 voters.

The table below shows the top four, who will appear on the General Election Ballot are Coleman Hunt (recruited to run by Jo Boggs), Dena Green (our top choice) and the way behind runner-ups Phillip “Bully” Glover and Tommy “Bully-Lite” Greene (also recruited by Jo Boggs). The vote spread appears to indicate runner-ups Guy Suttle and Barbara Romich are not close enough to call for a runoff with Tommy Greene. Therefore these four Democrats will face the Republican Team of Danny Blanton, Robert Queen, Rodney Fitch and Kevin Whisnant along with Kathy “Dummy” (by her own description) Falls in the November 7, 2017 General Election for the Cleveland County School Board.

The vote totals are as follows:

Fraud Investigators from the US Department of Labor Reported at Cleveland Community College!!! –Lie Detector Results are in –Don’t expect anything but Cover-up!! –Report by Robert A. Williams

Sources have reported:

1. The US Department of Labor (DOL) fraud investigators are on site at Cleveland Community College investigating allegations of fraud regarding DOL grant funds that were illegally diverted to other accounts. Notice that you haven’t heard a peep from the Shelby Star about this?
2. CCC Executive Vice President Dr. Shannon Kennedy has submitted to lie detector testing and the results are in. (But CCC refuses to tell me what the results were of the questions that were asked.) Again, notice no word from the Shelby Star or Gaston Gazette for that matter.
3. Previous CCC Board of Trustee investigations are being re-investigated by an outside investigator. Results may or may not be in. However, an item on the September 11, 2017 Board Meeting Agenda says a Special Report will be provided by Board Member H. Allen Langley. Not a peep from the Star about this either.

Folks, as President1al Candidate Ronald Reagan once said to his Presidential Debate Opponent Jimmy Carter during their 1980 Presidential Debate, “There you go again!” The Cleveland Community College Board of Trustees and their new (same as the old) do-nothing President are up to their same old tricks too. Keep quite, don’t talk to anyone who knows anything, falsify meeting minutes by not accurately recording information provided by the public into board meeting minutes, knowingly voting to accept the falsified minutes into the official Board of Trustee records, refusing to investigate and follow up on allegations made by members of the public as well as present and past CCC employees, releasing Press Releases to the Shelby Star that only report “good” news that is most often biased and false, refusing to provide to the public records and information that is determined to be public records and public documents in accordance with North Carolina and Federal law and other such propaganda shenanigans. Scroll on back folks and re-read the twenty or more articles that myself and others have provided to this website and show where the CCC Board of Trustees have done anything truly positive to resolve the many scandals at CCC. They couldn’t even get properly rid of former president Steve Thornburg-they had to pay him over $200,000 to get him to leave instead of just firing him for the pervert password “fuckshannon69” he created for his CCC account. Just about any fool in Cleveland County could have done better than this.

Back to the Report:
Cleveland Community College has accepted many government grants for big bucks over the years. Usually those grants required CCC to do certain things and make proper accounting to show that the $$$s were spent correctly. Knowingly misappropriating money from a grant from it’s intended purpose to somewhere else would be a crime called “fraud.” If two or more persons conspired to commit the fraud or any other crime, that would constitute a “conspiracy” which is defined by law as a felony crime, even if the underlying crime was only a misdemeanor.

So, with Sheriff Alan Norman on the CCC Board of Trustees, any indication of criminal activity at CCC would be promptly investigated thoroughly and turned over to the District Attorney’s Office for immediate prosecution, Right? You would think the answer would be an immediate YES. But that is wrong. Somehow Sheriff Alan Norman has been led to believe it would be a conflict of interest for his Sheriff’s Department to investigate an agency that the Sheriff himself has a leadership role in that agency. Some lawyer probably. Maybe even the DA. But hey, the fact is Sheriff Norman has not directed his law enforcement agency to investigate CCC for the criminal activity they have been accused of-for whatever reason. I recommend Sheriff Alan Norman resign immediately from the CCC Board of Trustees and get himself back 100% into his law enforcement responsibility as the Sheriff of Cleveland County so there will be no question of what the Sheriff’s duties and priorities are.

Then you have to consider what the Board of Trustees have done otherwise regarding the criminal allegations as well as other allegations and complaints of wrongdoing. Hey, they appointed an investigative committee who never talked to the folks who made the complaints, only those apple polishers who were accused. So, what did they come up with? A report that found nothing was wrong and blamed those who made complaints of being “disgruntled employees” who were lying and all other sorts of mayhem. Even big donors and Board members who complained of the CCC wrongdoing were talked about to the point several resigned (Patsy Rose and Ellis Monroe) from the Board and others vowed not to give another dime to CCC.

Now the CCC Board has initiated lie detector testing and outside investigators who have only been given the same biased material the BoT used to begin with, and the BoT denied a Public Records request for the all the material to be used in the lie detector testing as well as all the other investigations. It’s a “fix” and everybody knows it. Who can believe now anything the CCC Board of Trustees say or any report they release to the Shelby Star-who apparently just publish what CCC gives them and never ask any questions or verify any information released to them.

Now we hear the US Department of Labor, who awarded CCC a big grant has investigators out at CCC asking questions. You gotta remember the DOL is just like Sheriff Alan Norman, the BoT and the alleged conspirators at CCC. All these allegations have happened on their watch and any bad findings will reflect badly on them too. Especially the DOL who have put out big bucks and would appear incompetent if they were found out for not discovering crimes and fraud going on right under their own noses. Their careers would be shot. So, can you depend on the DOL finding anything? I don’t.

Another twist to the DOL is they are probably PO’d about having to come to po-dunk Cleveland County in the first place. Especially to do a job that should have been done by the local Sheriff and the local CCC Board of Trustees over bucks ($$$) that are big to us but are peanuts to them. They will probably be in a big hurry to get back to Washington or wherever they came from, so they will not be wanting to talk to the folks that reported the fraud just like the BoT.

So, Folks, be prepared to hear a big “har de har har” from the cover-up crowd on the CCC Board of Trustees and the apple polishers when nothing gets done about all the stuff going on at Cleveland Community College. But then go look in the mirror if you want to see the real culprits in all this mess. You have stayed home on Election Day, you have stayed home when all these CCC Board of Trustee members were wining and dining themselves. You stay home when the Commissioners have their meetings. You stay home when the School Board has their meetings. You are looking at a low information person who believes whatever the good-ole-boys and the Shelby Star tell you. And you might just stop reading my articles now that I have exposed you.

Or, maybe you have learned your lesson and you will decide to get out on Election Day for a change and run all those crooks out of office that deserve to be run out of office. This year’s Elections are near so we will soon see what you are made of and whether or not you show up to vote.

If this is you, keep on reading my articles and you will soon learn who to vote for and who to vote out of office. And why!!! We always tell the who and the why of it.

Stay tuned!!!

A Sex Scandal Reported at Cleveland Pines? or Not??? Report, investigation and conclusion by Robert A. Williams

Editor’s Note: The following letter is exactly as I received it except I omitted race and revised the years of service to protect the identity of the person making this report.

August 24, 2017

Robert,

I am an employee at Cleveland Pines in Shelby NC. We just had an employee that won employee of the month and She has not been here but a couple of months. She started in April 2017 and won the award for July 2017. I am a -(Race deleted)- woman who find it very odd that she should get an award within a couple of months that I have not received in my (More than 5 — less than 15) years working here and she is not even employed by Carolina’s Healthcare. This award is meant to be for Carolina’s Healthcare employees, not Aegis who she works for. I believe the sex scandal at Cleveland Community College is alive in other places in Cleveland County too!

(No name was provided)

I investigated this report and found that Cleveland Pines did indeed award an Employee of the Month to a relatively new “contract” person working for a company named Aegis, who specializes in providing therapists to Cleveland Pines. My investigation also disclosed that patients, families of patients and others can nominate any person for the Employee of the Month Award. Indeed, patients and patient’s families might not even know whether or not that employee is a contract person or a regular employee. They recognize a helpful staff member and make their nominations.

Cleveland Pines puts an emphasis on the Employee of the Month program, encourages participation and provides a nice prize for the winners. Sources indicate that there have been some previous “cheating” in the program that has caused Cleveland Pines to clamp down a bit on determining the winner. So called “WOW Cards” are filled out regarding the nominated persons and why they should be awarded the prize.

I could not find any indication that the Employee of the Month Award program at Cleveland Pines excludes “contract employees” from being awarded the prize as alleged. Also, I cannot determine from the anonymous letter above, nor from sources that there are sufficient indications of any sexual related influences regarding this particular person being awarded the Citizen of the Month prize at Cleveland Pines. It appears that the person making the allegation will just have to work harder to win this award in the future.

However, this letter is totally correct in the belief that sex scandals such as those at Cleveland Community College are alive in other places too. The Executive Vice President at CCC has just undergone lie detector testing regarding allegations of improper sexual activity. Results are in but the Board of Trustees have refused to inform me of the results-which, at this point, I would refuse to believe a word they say about it as well as their other biased investigations.

Cleveland County Schools are saturated with sex scandals. Presently two Democrat candidates for the School Board are well known for their sex-capades. School Board member Roger Harris has been associated with covering up for a female teacher who was caught having sex with a student while he was principal at Crest High School. Law Enforcement, The District Attorney’s Office, Judges, Commissioners, DSS, the Health Department, all, have their own instances of sex scandals and covering up for sex scandals.

And, more information regarding Cleveland Pines may very well turn up similar situations. But not just yet with the information that has been provided so far.

Stay tuned folks. All this stuff noted herein will not remain unspoken for much longer.

Asha Degree Case gets New Investigative Coverage after 17 years!–A Press Release or a Publicity Stunt??? –Report, speculation and recommendation by Robert A. Williams

September 6, 2017, Shelby, NC

A number of news reporters gathered around noon today to hear an announcement by the FBI, SBI and the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Department. A nationwide group within the FBI has joined in with the regular FBI, SBI and Sheriff’s Department to re-investigate the Asha Degree missing person report and investigation. And that the case is not a cold case. An FBI spokesperson says somebody in the community knows something.

Besides my caveat that I hope someone does come forward and breaks this case, and Asha is found alive and well, my first thought about this is this is just another election year publicity stunt. But nobody in law enforcement is up for election this year. Of course there is the very real possibility that this is a publicity stunt to turn people’s thoughts away from the scandals at Cleveland Community College, Cleveland County Schools and the various messes involving the Cleveland County Commissioners.

I suspect it is the latter. A publicity stunt to shift the political conversation going on in Cleveland County. And, Sheriff Alan Norman has found himself stuck to a tar-baby with his appointment to the Cleveland Community College Board of Trustees and the public anger toward that Board for voting to give a pervert $200,000 in taxpayer dollars to leave CCC, hiring a new do-nothing President who refuses to make the necessary changes at CCC as well as returning CCC to the same ole same ole of running their own publicity stunts with the Shelby Star.

The new CCC President has also decided he will place the Board of Trustee members into various committees so they will become more likely to advocate for the CCC status quo instead of providing actual leadership for the Cleveland Community College and strict direction to this upstart of a new President.

In this respect I have some advice for Cleveland County Sheriff Alan Norman. Sheriff, your services are needed much more in fighting crimes and enforcing the law in Cleveland County rather than being jerked around by the new Cleveland Community College President. Please resign from the gridlocked CCC Board of Trustees where you were beating your head against the wall and make your services 100% available to the Sheriff’s Office. Arrest all the crooks and drug dealers and hopefully find Asha Degree in the process. Do this and you will continue being a Hero. Stay stuck on the tar-baby at CCC and voters may have to look for another Sheriff come Election Day.

Democrat School Board Primary Election–Correction!!!– Candidate Coleman Hunt up to his Zipper in Scandals Too. –Report By Robert A. Williams

In my previous article listing the Democrat School Board Candidates and recommendation to only vote for Dena Green and Barbara Romich, I made a comment that Coleman Hunt was not involved in any such scandals as noted for Bully Glover, Tommy Greene and Guy Suttle. That statement was incorrect.

I learned from a very, very reliable source that Coleman Hunt was indeed involved with multiple episodes of scandalous behavior stemming from his lack of control of his zipper with various CCS teachers who worked for him. Scroll on back a bit for my original article. At that time the only actual scandal involving Coleman Hunt that I was aware of was his hiring of School Board member Jo Boggs’ daughter over more qualified candidates as well as Jo Boggs reportedly recruiting Mr. Hunt and Tommy Greene for this Primary Election.

Folks, early voting will resume this coming Tuesday and run through Friday. The Primary Election Day is the next Tuesday September 13, 2017. If you want some sort of morality in your Democrat candidates, my recommendation still holds. Double shot vote for Dena Green and Barbara Romich. A Sample Democrat Primary marked up ballot is shown below.

The winners of the Democrat School Board Primary Election will face Danny Blanton, Robert Queen, Rodney Fitch, Kevin Whisnant and Petition Candidate Kathy Falls in the General Election held November 7, 2017.

Courthouse Article Draws Complaints-Cleveland County Style!!! –Report and Evaluation by Robert A. Williams

A friend of a friend of a friend called me earlier this week regarding my first article of a series about problems and issues down at the courthouse. The article was titled “Part I: I Smell a Rat Down at the Courthouse!!! Sheriff Sued, DA Won t Prosecute, Judge Won t Hold Court, DSS Won t investigate in Report of Child Molestation!!” and was published August 28, 2017.

An update regarding that article is Sheriff Alan Norman was served with his lawsuit by the Cleveland County Coroner down at the Courthouse. Therefore all the various legal actions Mike Drake has filed in this matter (going back to 2016) has been properly filed and served, yet Mike Drake can’t get allegations of his juvenile daughter’s being “groomed” for sexual molestation by her mother’s paramour properly investigated and those facts and other actions being placed before a judge. Go back and read that article. I named names. gave court case numbers for anybody to check out, and basically provided the facts of the case as I know them.

But that is not the “Cleveland County problem” that I am disclosing with this article. This article is about the call I received regarding the Mike Drake article previously published and noted above. The call I received was a warning that certain people were angry because I wrote an article about Mike Drake at all. Those “certain people” don’t like Mike Drake and therefore don’t believe Mike Drake should have his day in Court at all. My warning call also indicated that those “certain people” are beginning not to like me because they say, falsely, that I am taking up for Mike Drake and that I will lose credibility if I keep on writing articles about problems down at the Courthouse.

“Well,” I told the caller. “Pass the word back to where it came from that if Mike Drake, liked or not, cannot get his day in Court, none of us will be able to get our day in Court” if need be. I went on to say that the First Amendment to the US Constitutions calls for every citizen to be able to “petition the government for the redress of grievances” and other parts of the Constitution say we all have equal rights under the law. Mike Drake’s problem, that I am taking up for, arises when he can’t get his rightfully filed legal actions before the courts. This is still America is it not?

I told the caller some other things too. I told the caller, “Shame on those ‘certain people’ who want their rights to stay in place but don’t care if the rights of others are taken away by corruption in the legal system in Cleveland County.” I said that I had showed “My credibility” by listing the court case numbers and all the names involved in the legal actions, except for the under-aged girl. “Where is the credibility of these “certain people” who question MY credibility with their whispered lies?” I suspect not one person has gone down to the Courthouse, looked at the documents and found anything that I printed was incorrect.

So, folks! Read the facts that I publish or read the failed Shelby Star and listen to the whispered lies that are being told. My suspicion in this case is the whispered lies are coming out of the Courthouse and the DSS. Stay tuned and I will update this case involving Mike Drake and his family as any changes occur. Also, if you run across DA Mike Miller, Sheriff Alan Norman and any of the Cleveland County Judges, ask them when Mike Drake will get his day in Court???
